St. Stephen — RCMP seeking public's help following robbery

The St. Stephen RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify an individual in connection with a robbery in the community. The incident is believed to have occurred on October 19, 2023, at a business on King Street, in St. Stephen. The individual entered the store and left with approximately $200 worth of merchandise without paying. The individual is described as a man, in his mid-twenties to early thirties, with a slim build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a red baseball hat with white lettering, a blue shirt and blue jeans.

On March 22, 2024, at approximately 11:20 p.m., members of the St. Stephen RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 774 in Wilsons Beach on Campobello Island. The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital with serious injuries. A 17-year-old passenger, and only other occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Tags:
