A 77-year-old man from Balmoral in the Bois-Joli region of N.B., has died and a 17-year-old youth has been arrested following a hit and run collision in the community. On February 8, 2024, at approximately 6:40 p.m., members of the Campbellton RCMP Detachment responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Des Pionniers Avenue in Bois-Joli. The victim, a 77-year-old man, had been struck by a vehicle which then fled, and died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
