The New Brunswick RCMP's 2022 Annual Report, Working together to create a safer New Brunswick, is now available online. "Each year, we are proud to release our annual report as part of our commitment to being accountable and transparent to the communities we serve," says Cpl. Hans Ouellette with the New Brunswick RCMP. "In 2022, we continued to prioritize efficient and effective approaches to policing, while developing relationships with our communities and partners that we will continue to build upon."

On March 22, 2024, at approximately 11:20 p.m., members of the St. Stephen RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 774 in Wilsons Beach on Campobello Island. The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital with serious injuries. A 17-year-old passenger, and only other occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Tags:
