The Richibucto RCMP Detachment is seeking the public's help to locate a stolen all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and trailer in Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, N.B. The theft is believed to have occurred overnight between April 4 and April 5, 2024, from a residence on Renaud Road in the community. The ATV is described as a camouflage 2014 Can-Am Outlander XT, with New Brunswick licence plate XZ1465, and vehicle identification number 3JBLKPP11EJ000516. The trailer is described as a 2014 custom aluminum trailer with New Brunswick licence plate TPH798.

On March 22, 2024, at approximately 11:20 p.m., members of the St. Stephen RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 774 in Wilsons Beach on Campobello Island. The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital with serious injuries. A 17-year-old passenger, and only other occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Tags:
