On March 22, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the Oromocto RCMP detachment responded to a repot of a single-vehicle crash on Route 105 in Sheffield. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The crash is believed to have occurred when the vehicle, travelling westbound, crossed the centre line, left the roadway and crashed into a number of trees. Tags: new-brunswick

On March 22, 2024, at approximately 11:20 p.m., members of the St. Stephen RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 774 in Wilsons Beach on Campobello Island. The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital with serious injuries. A 17-year-old passenger, and only other occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
