Doyles Brook — 48-year-old man charged following attempted armed robbery

A 48-year-old man from Miramichi, N.B., has been charged in connection with an attempted armed robbery in Doyles Brook, N.B. On July 25, 2024, at approximately 5:20 p.m., an individual entered a business on Highway 118 in Doyles Brook, wearing a full-face mask, and carrying a weapon. The individual fled the scene on foot shortly after, and was unsuccessful in obtaining anything. No one was injured during the incident. On July 26, the New Brunswick RCMP issued a news release with photos of the suspect requesting assistance from the public in identifying the individual.
