A 52-year-old resident of Oromocto First Nation, has been arrested following an investigation into child luring. On August 9, 2024, at approximately 4 p.m., members of the Oromocto RCMP received a report of child luring in Oromocto First Nation. Early in the investigation, police determined that a 52-year-old man had been in contact with a youth by means of telecommunications with the intent of committing sexual interference.
