Pont-Lafrance — 19-year-old man dies following two-vehicle collision

A 19-year-old man from Haut-Rivière-du-Portage, has died following a two-vehicle collision in Pont-Lafrance, N.B. On August 23, 2024, at approximately 6:45 p.m., members of the Tracadie and Neguac detachments responded to a report of a collision between a truck and a car on Highway 370 in Pont-Lafrance. The driver and sole occupant of the truck had minor injuries. The driver and sole occupant of the car was transported to hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
