Esgenoôpetitj First Nation — Man and woman arrested following drug investigation

A 50-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, both from Esgenoôpetitj First Nation, have been arrested following a drug investigation in the community. On July 26, 2024, at approximately 9 a.m., members of the Neguac and Tracadie RCMP detachments executed a search warrant at a residence on St. Anne Street. During the search, police seized quantities of what are believed to be cocaine, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and money.
