David Alexander Mitchell was last seen on September 9, 2024, at a residence on Whites Mountain Road, in Whites Mountain, N.B. He was reported missing to police on September 25, 2024. On October 7, 2024, at approximately 2 p.m., members of the Tracadie RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Route 135 in Hacheyville. An 81-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene as a result of her injuries.
