Atholville — RCMP seeking public's help following attempted theft

The Campbellton RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify a person of interest following an attempted theft in Atholville, N.B. On August 8, 2024, at approximately 3:23 p.m., an individual entered a business on Savoie Street, in Atholville, and filled their shopping cart. While attempting to leave the store without paying, the shopping cart's safety system immobilized one of the wheels, preventing it from going any further. The individual then fled the scene, leaving the shopping cart and its entire content behind.
