Tobique First Nation — Two individuals arrested following drug investigation

Police have arrested a 47-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman, both from Tobique First Nation, N.B., following a drug investigation in the community of Tobique First Nation, N.B. On October 23, 2024, police executed a search warrant at a residence on Third Street in the community. During the search, police seized quantities of suspected ICE methamphetamine pills, crystal methamphetamine and another unknown substance. Drug paraphernalia, ammunition, a prohibited weapon and a stolen licence plate were also seized as part of the investigation.

Tomasz Isaac Dedam was last seen on October 9, 2024, at approximately 5 a.m., near Barlow Court in Esgenoôpetitj. He was reported missing to police the same day. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing. Tags: new-brunswick
