Fredericton — New Brunswick RCMP to start using body-worn cameras

As part of the New Brunswick RCMP's commitment to transparency and accountability with the communities we serve, frontline officers in the Province will soon start wearing body-worn cameras. Audio and video captured on body-worn cameras will be managed by a digital evidence management system that will store and manage all data recorded.  Starting on November 18, 2024, body-worn cameras will be worn by NB RCMP frontline officers working out of the following detachments:

Tomasz Isaac Dedam was last seen on October 9, 2024, at approximately 5 a.m., near Barlow Court in Esgenoôpetitj. He was reported missing to police the same day. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing. Tags: new-brunswick
