Big River  — RCMP investigate theft of excavator

The Chaleur Region RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify a person of interest following a theft in Big River, N.B. On November 28, 2024, at approximately 2:20 a.m. an individual stole an excavator from a business on Route 430, in Big River. The suspect drove the excavator on the train tracks towards the Papineau First Nation, where it was later recovered. A description of the individual is not available at this time.
