Chance Harbour  — 52-year-old man dies following single-vehicle crash

A 52-year-old man from Lepreau, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash near Chance Harbour, N.B. On June 24, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., members of the St. George RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single all-terrain vehicle crash on Highway 790, near Chance Harbour. The driver and sole occupant of the ATV died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver of the ATV, travelling southbound, lost control of the vehicle and went off the road, colliding with a telephone pole.
