Canobie — RCMP asking for public's help following home invasion

The Chaleur Region RCMP detachment is asking for the public's help to further a home invasion investigation in Canobie, N.B. On June 22, 2024, at approximately 1:45 a.m., members of the Chaleur Region RCMP detachment responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence in Canobie. Two men forcefully entered the residence by breaking a door window, and were confronted by one of the homeowners. One homeowner was assaulted with a weapon by one of the individuals, and was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
