Lower Hainesville  — RCMP Major Crime Unit investigating man's death as homicide

The New Brunswick RCMP's Major Crime Unit (MCU) is investigating the death of a 39-year-old man in Lower Hainesville, N.B., as a homicide. On July 21, 2024, at approximately 8:20 a.m., members of the Nackawic RCMP detachment responded to a report of a sudden death at a residence on Central Hainesville Road. When police arrived at the scene, they located the body of a man in the driveway. The New Brunswick RCMP's MCU has deemed the man's death suspicious, and is investigating it as a homicide.
