Oromocto  — RCMP issue 59 tickets during traffic enforcement operation

13 vehicles have been towed, and 59 tickets have been issued following a traffic enforcement operation in the Oromocto region. On July 10, 2024, the New Brunswick RCMP's Tactical Traffic Enforcement Unit, and Provincial Motor Vehicle Inspectors from the Department of Justice and Public Safety conducted a traffic enforcement operation in the Oromocto area. A total of 34 vehicles were escorted to an inspection station, of which 13 were subsequently deemed unsafe and towed. 15 vehicles received a compliance order.
