Doaktown — Missing 10-year-old boy located safe

The 10-year-old boy from Doaktown, N.B., who was reported missing to police on July 7, 2024, has been located safe and sound. The RCMP would like to thank Irving Woodlands, the Doaktown Fire Department, The Department of Justice and Public Safety, the Department of Natural Resources, the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization, as well as Miramichi, Tri County, and York Sunbury Ground Search and Rescue Teams for their assistance. We would also like to thank the members of the public who came to assist in searching for the boy.
