The New Brunswick RCMP has issued an Alert Ready for the area of Esgenoopetitj (Burnt Church) First Nation, N.B., as police are searching for an armed individual. The New Brunswick RCMP has issued an Alert Ready at 3: 59 p.m. on September 5, 2024, to advise residents of Esgenoopetitj (Burnt Church) First Nation, N.B., to remain inside, and others to avoid the area. A search is underway for an armed individual in the region.
